Summary:

While attending law school at Florida State University, Mr. Cumbie worked as a real estate title Examiner. In 1972, upon graduation, he returned to Central Florida and served as a prosecutor with the State Attorney's office, ultimately opening his own law practice with R. Stephen Miles, Jr.

Subsequent to his admission to the Florida Bar in 1972, he served as a member of the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, the Florida Association of Realtors Local Board Attorney's Committee, was the President of the Osceola County Bar Association and was appointed as a Municipal Judge for the City of St. Cloud and served in that capacity until the abolition of Municipal Courts.

He serves as an advisory director to the St. Cloud Hospital (Orlando Regional Medical Center), former director and past president of the American Cancer Society, director and past president of the Osceola County Council on Aging, Inc., former advisory directory for Visiting Nurse Association, Inc., former director of the Board of Visitors to the Osceola County Children's Home, former director of St. Cloud Retirement Home, Inc., former director and vice president of Legal Affairs for the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce, member of the Osceola County Library Advisory Board, former director of the Chamber Foundation, Inc., current member of the Rotary Club of Kissimmee Bay and member of the Osceola County Tourist Development Council, as a non-collector representative. He also serves as a director for the Kissimmee Utility Authority.

He attends and serves on various committees of the First United Methodist Church of Kissimmee.

Mr. Cumbie's banking experience consists of serving as a founding director for Security National Bank of Osceola, a director of Security National Bank, and currently serves as chairman and advisory director for SunTrust Bank.
